Wils :: Charleston, SC Senior Portrait Session :: Hampton Park

I had a fantastic hour walking around the grounds of my absolute favorite shoot location in Charleston with Wils and his sweet Mom. Wils, a soccer superstar I’ve come to find out, is graduating from high school and will be headed off to Wofford in the fall. He was SUCH a great sport and was game to try all my poses and he took direction like a total champ. His mother was so lovely, and you could feel how proud she was of him - it’s these big/little beautiful things that make senior portrait sessions my favorite type of all.

My own little man is graduating from Kindergarten in two weeks, and I know that I’ll blink and will find myself in her shoes sooner than I’d like, holding on to the last moments as best I can, hardly believing that he’s almost ready to fly away. These sessions just get me all up in my feels, every single time.

Congrats to all of the 2021 grads. Way to make it to the end of a truly bizarre and uncharted school year. Caps and hats off to you.
