Bubble baths make the ideal opportunity for a fun portrait session and I honestly think this is one of the most fun sessions I’ve ever done with my own kids. Just think - they can’t run away - ha! But the dreamy lighting and peachy-pink hues, coupled with the soft fluff of all the bubbles really sets a lovely atmosphere for a photo shoot.

But mostly, I love it because it’s different and maybe a little less obvious. Clearly a shoot like this is only really geared toward the littlest of us, but it’s such an adorable setting to get some unbelievably cool images. This is another example of the types of shoots I live for - the everyday stuff that is so very real, so very much a part of our lives. Bath time, if you’re a parent, is just that. Like my first gallery of after-school images, this one really re-ignites my love of catching the precious, simple moments of a busy life - as they fly right on by - and keeping them alive, frozen in time.
