You can feel the love through these photos, right? This gallery showcases a morning spent with the sweetest family here in Charleston, SC; one that was truly a pleasure to capture. I met Vikki, Lee and their sweet boy, Rhodes with the intention of doing a lifestyle shoot, and left our time together with some new friends. What a gift.

I sent this special collection off to these new friends and neighbors feeling pretty grateful that people allow me into their homes and special places like this, giving me the opportunity to capture a day in their lives, a little of their story.

That's the beauty of lifestyle shoots, to me. I try to capture moments for people's future selves so that, way down the line, when they look back at the images, they'll be reminded of little, everyday things that maybe have faded some with time. A well-worn stuffed elephant, a cardboard "restaurant," guitar jam sessions, Dad's tomato and peach sandwiches, the little Buddah statue in the front yard ...

The little things add up to so much, I think.
