I spent a magical morning on Monday with a group of Charleston-based women business owners who are all teaming up on a collective project to support one another’s endeavors, facilitating a momentum and sense of growth for everyone.

Bridgette and Brooke from Southern Picnic Co. were there, styling the most beautifully luxe, cozy picnic I’ve ever seen. Kelsey from CHS Coastal Charcuterie brought what has got to the the most eye-catching breakfast board ever constructed. Renee from Vacation Yoga was there to lead a serene yoga session by the marsh. Rachel from Charleston Uncorked brought a thoughtfully curated selection of wines to adorn the table, and Amanda from Charleston Bag Valet brought the luggage you see photographed here, showcasing the wonderfully unique service she offers to travelers here in the low country.

The anchoring force of the morning, and the woman with whom I initially connected about this unique event, was and is Laura Hoover of On Call Concierge. She is building a company that is designed to help people traveling to Charleston and the surround low country have the best possible visit - with the kinds of recommendations that locals would give you, from top to bottom. So, she assembled this dream team of women for this shoot to really highlight the kinds of vendors she recommends and to offer a killer giveaway to a lucky winner.

I had the pleasure of capturing all of this with my camera. As a new coming to the low country, you can imagine how much I valued this time getting to know these women and learning a little bit about their unique businesses.
